Housing Support Service

Our Housing Support Service commenced in February 2003 and has grown since its introduction. Its primary objectives include preventing homelessness and stabilising tenancies through Housing Support.

The Service currently has 5 Housing Support Workers. We provide 160 hours per week.

The support includes:-

  • Help with budgeting/income maximization
  • Help settling into tenancies
  • Linking with other services
  • Assistance with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit Claims
  • Linking to the Centre’s Housing Advice and information service
  • Homelessness Prevention

The Centre welcomes feedback from our service users and this is included in our Annual Housing Support Report.

We are registered and inspected by the Care Commission.
